Former Aston Villa manager Ron Atkinson believes that the Premier League side are capable of getting a result against Bradford City in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final but insists that they must improve.

Former Aston Villa manager Ron Atkinson believes that the Midlands club are capable of reaching the final of the League Cup, despite sitting on a 3-1 deficit after the first leg of the semi-final against Bradford City.

The League Two side shocked their Premier League opponents by claiming a victory at Valley Parade last night and Atkinson has urged his former club to improve quickly ahead of the second leg.

"It is do-able but they are going to have to play an awful lot better than they have been playing recently and certainly better than they did last night," Atkinson told BBC Radio Five Live.

The second leg will go ahead at Villa Park on January 22.
