Remi Garde has insisted that he has "no regrets" about taking on the job as Aston Villa manager, despite not winning a single game since he arrived in November.
The Midlands outfit have had a torrid season having earned just one top-flight victory, which was on the opening day of the campaign.
Twenty games later, Villa find themselves rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, 11 points from safety.
"There are more difficulties, I discovered, when I arrived here, but I am very honest, I love the job," Sky Sports News quotes Garde as saying.
"My target is only to try to help this football club to get through this very bad period and I am doing my best. I have no regrets about coming here."
When asked if he will continue as manager, Garde said: "Yes, of course."
Villa's next game is against Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.
