Aston Villa have reportedly decided to join the race to secure a loan deal for Everton winger Yannick Bolasie.
The 29-year-old has spent the last two seasons at Goodison Park, but it appears that the player does not feature in the plans of new boss Marco Silva.
Bolasie had been keen to remain in the Premier League, but with the transfer window for top-flight clubs having shut last Thursday, the attacker must now contemplate his next move.
Middlesbrough have been strongly linked with a move for the player, and the Daily Star reports that the North-East outfit could face competition from Villa.
The West Midlands side are said to be targeting a number of loan moves before the end of August, and contact is expected to be made with Everton.
Bolasie has made 32 outings for Everton since the start of the 2016-17 campaign, but the DR Congo international did miss over a year of action with a serious knee injury.
