Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar has revealed that he plans to meet with his agent to discuss his future.
The 29-year-old has been linked with Manchester United, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur after impressing during Holland's run to the World Cup semi-finals.
Villa would be very reluctant to let Vlaar leave, but the Dutchman only has one year left on his contract with Paul Lambert's side and has admitted that he has "various options" to consider.
He is quoted as saying in Dutch football magazine Helden: "I still have one year left and I understand Aston Villa absolutely don't want to let me go.
"[In] the previous weeks I haven't even thought about a possible transfer. The only thing I did was enjoying my holiday and didn't think about football.
"Soon I will meet my agent and discuss the various options."
Vlaar has made 65 appearances in all competitions for Villa since signing from Feyenoord in 2012.
