Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has insisted that his future is at the Vicente Calderon.
After losing the 2016 Champions League final to Real Madrid, Simeone suggested that he would consider his future this summer amid reported interest from the Premier League.
However, the Argentine has claimed that he "spoke in the heat of the moment" and has no plans to leave Spain.
"I spoke in the heat of the moment. We Argentinians are like that. Others are not at fault for beating you, I learned that a long time ago. To remember the pain and the suffering is necessary to better yourself," Simeone told reporters.
Simeone has also been linked with a return to former club Inter Milan.
