Atletico Madrid and Valencia could move for Monaco forward Radamel Falcao this summer, according to a report.

Atletico Madrid and Valencia are both reportedly considering moves for Monaco forward Radamel Falcao this summer.

Falcao enjoyed another productive season with the Ligue 1 outfit, finding the back of the net on 16 occasions in all competitions, including 15 in the top flight of French football despite Monaco's struggles.

The 33-year-old still has 12 months left to run on his current deal although it is thought that he will seek pastures new in this summer's transfer window.

Real Betis and Arsenal have both recently been linked with moves for the Colombian but according to L'Equipe, Atletico and Valencia are also firmly in the race.

The report claims that the experienced striker has offers from the Chinese Super League but would be more interested in a return to Spanish football.

Falcao scored 70 times in 91 appearances for Atletico between 2011 and 2013 before moving to Monaco.
