Barcelona's Gerardo Martino: "The league begins again"

Gerardo Martino says that Barcelona's 4-3 away win against Real Madrid has rejuvenated their chances of winning La Liga this season.

Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino believes that his side are back in the La Liga title race.

The Catalan giants defeated Real Madrid 4-3 at the Santiago Bernabeu in El Clasico on Sunday to close the gap on their rivals to one point.

"The league begins again," Football Espana quotes the 51-year-old as saying. "But it doesn't change my perception that beyond El Clasico, it's just one game."

Real and Atletico Madrid are currently level on 70 points at the top of the league table.
