Barcelona, Atletico Madrid to meet on May 17

Next weekend's La Liga title decider between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou will kick off on Saturday at 5pm.

Next weekend's La Liga title decider between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid has been moved forward from Sunday to Saturday at 5pm.

The league's top two had initially been expected to meet at the Camp Nou on Sunday evening, but it has been confirmed that the clash will now take place a day earlier.

Atletico missed the chance to win the title yesterday after drawing 1-1 at home to Malaga, but a point next weekend would be enough for the capital outfit to win the league.

Barcelona, meanwhile, who drew 0-0 with Elche on Sunday, need the three points to retain the title.
