Thiago Silva will not leave Paris Saint-Germain for Barcelona this summer, according to the defender's agent.
The Spanish champions are reportedly interested in the Brazilian centre-back and want to sign him as a long-term replacement for Carles Puyol.
"There is no possibility that Thiago Silva will leave this summer," Paulo Tonietto told Cadena SER.
"The club also does not intend to sell. They consider him to be a major footballer for their project, whether or not Carlo Ancelotti is on the bench next season.
"There has been no contact with Barca this year, but it is true that we spoke about a move before that. Barcelona were late then, whilst PSG also gave more money to Milan and to the player."
Silva joined PSG from AC Milan last summer.
