Barcelona striker Jonathan Soriano is eager to leave the Nou Camp for Benfica, according to agent Jose Maria Orobitg.
The striker, whose contract expires in the summer, was said to have agreed a move to the Estadio da Luz at the end of the season, according to reports in Portugal earlier this week. However, Orobitg insists that no such deal is in place.
"[Benfica winger] Nolito has said great things about Benfica," he told Radio Renascenca. "They are friends and he wants Soriano to go to Portugal.
"Soriano wants to go because Benfica are a very good club. It is true that I have been in Lisbon and that Benfica are interested, we have known this since the summer.
"He can sign a contract with another club already, but there are some things going right now, we will see how they go."
Soriano, 26, has also been linked with a move to Premier League outfits QPR, Swansea and Wigan.
