On-loan Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu is tipped to extend his temporary stay from Barcelona to cover next season.

Watford's on-loan winger Gerard Deulofeu will reportedly remain at the club next season.

The Spaniard completed a temporary move to Vicarage Road from Barcelona in January and, according to Cadena SER, he is "unlikely" to return to the La Liga giants next term.

The 24-year-old has previously hinted that a return to Bara is not an option for him and suggested that remaining at Watford is his best option for first-team football.

Deulofeu has endured a tough start to his Watford career, missing out on significant game time through injury.

The Spain international, however, made his comeback during the 2-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Monday night.
