Barcelona have reportedly withdrawn their contract offer for Adrien Rabiot and have told the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder that he will have to instigate the move.
The Catalan giants are believed to have missed out on the France international in both the summer and winter transfer windows.
Barca are said to have offered £35m for Rabiot six months ago but PSG refused to negotiate and they have been left waiting to see if he would sign a contract extension.
Rabiot has not put pen to paper on a new deal and will become a free agent at the end of the season, but Sport claims that a switch to Camp Nou is no longer clear-cut.
The 23-year-old's entourage are rumoured to have given excuses to not conclude negations with Barcelona earlier this year and the La Liga side now want the player to take the first step to prove his intentions.
Several English and Italian sides are believed to have contacted Rabiot, including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
