Barcelona midfielder Xavi has played down suggestions that he could join Paris Saint-Germain on loan.
The 35-year-old will play his final game for Barcelona on Saturday in the Champions League final against Juventus.
The Spaniard's next destination is Qatari side Al-Sadd, who he will officially join on a two-year contract later this month.
It had been claimed that the veteran could spend a period on loan with PSG, with the French club's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi the brother of the owner of Al Sadd.
However, such talk has been denied by the midfielder: "I will not play for PSG," Xavi told Al-Watan.
Xavi, who is widely regarded as the best player in the history of Spanish football, has been at Barcelona since 1991.
