Arjen Robben, Mehdi Benatia return to Bayern Munich training

Arjen Robben and Mehdia Benatia return to training with Bayern Munich as they continue to recover from their respective injuries.

Arjen Robben and Mehdi Benatia have both returned to training with their Bayern Munich teammates as the duo step up their respective recoveries.

An abdominal problem has kept Robben out of action since last month, while Benatia has been battling a groin injury in recent weeks as Pep Guardiola continues to be hit with a lack of numbers in his squad.

Robben had initially planned to return in Tuesday's DFB-Pokal semi-final against Borussia Dortmund, but Guardiola may not risk the Dutchman as Bayern have one eye on the Champions League last-four meeting with Barcelona.

The boost for treble-chasing Bayern comes on a day when their third successive Bundesliga title triumph was confirmed after Wolfsburg's loss to Borussia Monchengladbach.
