Jurgen Klopp wants to see Borussia Dortmund play well in the German Supercup, rather than take revenge on Bayern Munich.

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has insisted that revenge will not be on his mind when his side take on Bayern Munich in Saturday's German Supercup.

Die Schwarzgelben were beaten to both the Champions League and the Bundesliga titles by the Bavarian giants last season, but Klopp has said that he just wants to see his side play well on the night.

"We're far from harbouring any kind of revenge aspirations," he told Bundesliga.com. "We were unable to decide a great game against great opponents in our favour at Wembley, but this game nevertheless gave us a great deal.

"Nobody left the field after that game, saying 'next time, we're going to show you!' All we want to do on Saturday is play good football again and then, if possible, keep the cup in Dortmund. They've already shown once again in the Telekom Cup against Hamburger SV and Borussia Monchengladbach how strong they are.

"To be honest, we did kind of have an inkling beforehand that they could play good football, but we're playing in our own stadium and anything's always possible in a single game."

The two sides clash on Saturday night at Signal Iduna Park.
