Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has praised the Bundesliga for the wealth of German talent coming through the ranks.
Schweinsteiger said that he is pleased with the profile of the league to attract managers such as Pep Guardiola, but insisted that future talent is equally important.
"[The Bundesliga] is on a good financial footing," Bundesliga.com quotes Schweinsteiger as saying.
"It's good for the Bundesliga [to be able to attract names such as Guardiola], but it's also important for the national team that young German talent is coming through."
Schweinsteiger has scored six times for Bayern this season.
