Nikola Zigic says that Birmingham are eager to reach the final 16 of the Europa League.

Birmingham City frontman Nikola Zigic believes that the Championship side can cause an upset in Braga tonight for the Europa League group clash.

The 31-year-old is confident that Chris Hughton's men can defeat last year's runners-up and progress through to the knockout stages of the competition.

"No-one knew who Birmingham City were or how we might play," the Daily Star quotes Zigic as saying. "But they know now. It might work against us, not being the strangers any more, but we are confident.

"We don't want to give up European football and after two more fixtures we could be in the last 16 of the competition."

The former Premier League side are on equal points with joint leaders Club Brugge and Braga.
