Birmingham City have reportedly signalled their intent to keep Che Adams by turning down an offer from Fulham.
Cottagers boss Slavisa Jokanovic is looking to make a statement in the transfer market this summer but so far, he has failed to bring in numerous additions ahead of the new campaign.
According to the Daily Mail, Jokanovic was keen to sign Adams and made an offer of £5m for his signature, but that has been rejected by Birmingham.
That has allegedly led to the Blues showing a desire to open negotiations over a new deal for the 21-year-old, despite two years still remaining on his existing contract.
In his first year at St Andrew's, Adams scored seven goals in 42 matches in all competitions.
