Bolton Wanderers have reportedly targeted a summer move for Republic of Ireland international Darren O'Dea.
Trotters boss Owen Coyle is preparing for a new season in the Championship after being relegated from the top flight at the end of this term's campaign and is already looking to bolster his squad for the challenge.
Bolton are thought to be keen on O'Dea but they are expected to face competition from Sheffield Wednesday and Burnley for the defender, according to the Daily Star.
It is unclear whether O'Dea would be open to a switch to the Football League after walking out of Celtic at the end of the season.
