Bournemouth keen on Everton target Bakary Sako?

Bournemouth reportedly want to beat Everton to the signing of Mali winger Bakary Sako.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is reportedly keen on beating Everton to the signing of free agent Bakary Sako.

Sako was released by Wolverhampton Wanderers last month after the club were unable to agree a new contract with the Malian.

According to the Daily Star, the Cherries boss is looking to lure the 27-year-old to the Dorset club as he tries to add options out wide.

However, Sako is thought to be looking for a four-year contract, with wages of around £80,000 a week, which would make him the highest-paid player in the club's history.

Sako spent three seasons at Wolves after joining the club from Saint-Etienne in 2012.
