Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has completed a season-long loan move to Boca Juniors.

The 20-year-old Argentinian signed for the Seagulls in January but remained on loan with former club Argentinos Juniors until the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

He scored five times in 19 Primera Division appearances last term.

Albion technical director Dan Ashworth told the Premier League club's website: "Alexis is an exciting young talent and he will continue his development for the next year in his homeland with one of Argentina's biggest clubs.

"We will continue to monitor his development over the 12-month period and review his position next summer."
