Burnley striker Danny Ings has insisted that he is not expecting a call-up to the England senior squad.
The 22-year-old recently netted twice for the Under-21s in their win over Portugal before scoring two more goals for his club on Saturday in their 2-1 win at Stoke City.
Ings's form has linked him with being named in Roy Hodgson's next England squad, but the youngster claims that he is only thinking about helping Burnley to stay in the Premier League.
"It would be a dream come true but I would never expect something like that or take it for granted," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"It's down to Roy Hodgson and the people around him. It would mean everything to me and my family but it's all about producing for Burnley, working hard. As long as I can keep doing that and keep my club form going I'll be happy."
Burnley are back in Premier League action this Saturday when they welcome Aston Villa to Turf Moor.
