Brazil have dominated the opening 45 minutes against Cameroon to enter the break 2-0 ahead.
Brazil made a fine start to proceedings and secured the lead after just seven minutes when Francielle struck a free kick into the far corner.
It was quickly 2-0 just four minutes later when Renata Costa thumped a header into the back of the net from close range.
Cameroon had a chance of their own after 15 minutes when Ajara Nhout struck from outside the box, but it just moved wide of the post.
The Greens did improve as the half approached its latter stages, but Brazil enter the break with their 2-0 lead intact.
