FC Sion have claimed that they have won a court ruling which could reinstate them in the Europa League.
The Swiss side were expelled from this season's competition after they had fielded ineligible players during their twolegged playoff win against Celtic.
The Scottish side were then allowed to participate in Group I after UEFA's findings.
However, the court in Vaud has already been dismissed by European football's governing body after they ruled that Sion should be put back in the tournament on Tuesday.
A statement from the Swiss club read: "After the refusal of UEFA to submit to the Swiss civil court injunction, which ordered on September 13 the immediate rehabilitation of FC Sion in Group I of the Europa League, the civil court of the Canton of Vaud today ruled that no result and placing in Group I of the Europa League could, for the time being, be validated."
UEFA said that they were aware of the development but had no comment to make.
