FC Sion have submitted an appeal to UEFA to overturn their Europa League ban after Celtic were re-instated in their place.
The Swiss side were disqualified from the group stage of the Europa League after being found guilty of fielding five ineligible players against Celtic.
This in turn granted the Bhoys their place in Group I after being knocked out by their Swiss opponents over two legs.
The hearing is due to take place on September 13, two days before the Scottish side are due to face Atletico Madrid in Spain.
Sion hoped to resolve the issue earlier this week but were denied by the Swiss regional court after stating that they were not eligible to deal with issues out of their jurisdiction.
