Celtic move for Lassana Diarra?

Free agent Lassana Diarra is reportedly being lined up for a move to the Scottish Premiership, with Celtic apparently keen to bring in the midfielder.

Celtic are reportedly lining up a move for free agent Lassana Diarra after the Frenchman left Lokomotiv Moscow earlier this year.

The former Arsenal and Chelsea star was rumoured to have been in talks with Tottenham Hotspur in a potential transfer, but talks are alleged to have fallen through.

The Scottish champions are now seeking to bring the midfielder to Celtic Park, according to Goal.com.

The 29-year-old has had plenty of experience throughout his career, appearing in La Liga and the Premier League under a host of different clubs.

Diarra could prove to be a like-for-like replacement for Victor Wanyama, who left the Scottish giants to join Southampton in 2013.
