Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Everton

Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Chelsea will be looking to continue their impressive run of form in the Premier League when they travel to Goodison Park to face Everton on Saturday evening.

The Blues have won four of their last five in the league to rise up the table, with Frank Lampard's side currently sitting third, just two points behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur.

The capital side will enter this weekend's contest off the back of a 1-1 home draw with FC Krasnodar on Tuesday night, but they had already booked their spot in the knockout round of the Champions League.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Everton, who are currently ninth in England's top flight.

Hakim Ziyech

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Arsenal)

Hakim Ziyech picked up a hamstring problem in the first half of the win over Leeds United last weekend and subsequently missed out against Krasnodar. The summer arrival's injury is not serious, though, and he could make his return to the field against Arsenal on Boxing Day.

Callum Hudson-Odoi

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Arsenal)

Like Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi is currently on the sidelines with a hamstring issue, although the England international picked up the problem during a training session. The attacker's timeframe in terms of recovery is similar to his teammate, meaning that a return against Arsenal on December 26 is a possibility.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Chelsea have no players suspended for this match.
