Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Leeds United

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Leeds United.

Having been knocked off their perch at the top of the Premier League, Chelsea return to domestic action on Saturday against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel's men went down 3-2 to West Ham United last weekend before drawing 3-3 with Zenit St Petersburg in the Champions League - a result which saw them finish second in Group H.

The six-goal thriller with the Russian outfit saw Tuchel pull no punches after the final whistle, and Chelsea now sit third in the Premier League table behind Liverpool and Manchester City.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Ben Chilwell is facing a lengthy period out of action after suffering a partial ACL tear against Juventus last month, which may or may not need surgery.

Trevoh Chalobah picked up a hamstring problem against Watford last week, but his injury is not thought to be as bad as first feared and he is reportedly eyeing a return to the fold against Everton next week.

Jorginho

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: December 11 (vs. Leeds)

Jorginho missed the draw with Zenit in midweek due to back pain, but he is thought to have a chance of making the squad at the weekend.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: December 11 (vs. Leeds)

Ruben Loftus-Cheek was in the squad to face Zenit but ultimately did not feature due to an issue he picked up in the warm-up, so he is facing a race against time to be fit for Saturday.
