Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku has revealed that he will attempt to make progress in his recovery from an ankle injury on Friday.
The 28-year-old has been sidelined since October 20 after suffering the issue during Chelsea's 4-0 Champions League win against Malmo.
Head coach Thomas Tuchel has remained consistent when quizzed on a potential return date for his first-choice striker, maintaining that he will not be back until after the upcoming international break.
Lukaku has now backed up his German's comments, the summer signing saying on Friday morning that he is scheduled to make his first effort to return to the training pitch.
Running today let's see how that goes 🔋...

Lukaku will play no part for Belgium as they complete their World Cup qualification campaign over the next two weeks.
However, should he endure no issues during the final stages of his rehabilitation, Lukaku will hope to feature when Chelsea face Leicester City on November 20.
