Roman Abramovich will not appoint Roberto Di Matteo as Chelsea's full-time manager, according to reports.
The Daily Star understands that the Italian will be axed this week, despite delivering the Champions League trophy to Stamford Bridge.
According to a source close to the club, Abramovich believes that Di Matteo has been lucky in winning Europe's elite competition.
Former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola and Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp are believed to top the Russian's wishlist.
Di Matteo took over in March following Andre Villas-Boas's departure.
