Chelsea interim boss Rafael Benitez believes that the team can still improve, despite their 8-0 hammering of Aston Villa on Sunday.

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has insisted that the team can still improve, despite their 8-0 thumping of Aston Villa on Sunday.

The Blues outclassed their opponents from start to finish at Stamford Bridge as they moved up to third place in the Premier League table.

"I can guarantee you we can still improve a little bit," Benitez told Sky Sports News. "The main thing is to win games, not to score goals. If we keep doing that everything will be easier."

Chelsea are back in league action on Boxing Day when they make the trip to Norwich City.
