Callum Hudson-Odoi has revealed that Chelsea's decision to appoint Frank Lampard as manager created a 'positive vibe' at Stamford Bridge.
Despite a relatively successful first campaign, Maurizio Sarri left the Blues for Juventus in the summer, resulting in the return of club legend Lampard.
While Chelsea's results have been inconsistent during the opening six weeks of the new season, Hudson-Odoi has claimed that everyone is happy to be working with the former midfielder.
Hudson-Odoi told the Evening Standard: "The only thing that has changed is that we've got a more positive vibe in the changing room and on the pitch.
"We are all happy I think because the manager has come in, he used to be a great player himself at the club, and now he has come in and we all give respect to what he has done for the club before. I think the camp now is just more happy, more positive."
Hudson-Odoi penned a new five-year contract with Chelsea earlier this week.
