Chelsea youngster Tomas Kalas has expressed an ambition to emulate his "idol" John Terry at Stamford Bridge.
Kalas impressed on his Premier League debut after replacing the Blues' skipper in the starting lineup for the 2-0 win over Liverpool last month.
Now, Kalas, a £5m signing from Czech outfit Sigma Olomouc in 2010, hopes that he can go on to inspire the West Londoners in the same manner as his boyhood hero.
"I always watched Chelsea and wanted to play for them. It was because JT was my idol," he told The Sun.
"What marked him out as my star player was how he read the game, his experience, his heading - everything.
"It was a dream from the moment I signed to be at the club for a long time like JT and become a legend. But I can't begin to compare myself to him yet."
Kalas started Chelsea's end-of-season trip to Cardiff City this afternoon. You can find Sports Mole's live commentary of the event by clicking here.
