Victor Moses's agent Tony Finnigan has warned Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan that he will not get into a "slanging match" over the future of the forward.
The 21-year-old Nigerian is believed to be keen on leaving the DW Stadium this summer, which has been unwelcomed by Whelan, who accused Finnigan of turning the player's head.
"I know how these things work, but I'm not getting involved in a slanging match," said Finnigan. "All I will say is, how did Victor end up at Wigan, when he could have gone to Manchester City? Who took him to Wigan?"
The player's representative also claimed that he will try to force through a move to Chelsea.
