Oscar sidelined for Chelsea

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho confirms that Oscar will miss Wednesday's Premier League encounter at Sunderland through injury.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Oscar will sit out Wednesday's Premier League encounter at Sunderland through injury.

The Brazilian playmaker was forced off with a knock during Sunday's 3-1 win over Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

Defender David Luiz will also miss the game at the Stadium of Light.

However, striker Samuel Eto'o is back in training for the Blues after suffering a recent hamstring problem against Basel in the Champions League.

Chelsea travel to Sunderland four points behind leaders Arsenal in the Premier League table.
