Thiago Silva and Kai Havertz return to the Chelsea side for Sunday's Premier League fixture against West Ham United.

Thiago Silva and Kai Havertz have returned to the Chelsea side for Sunday's Premier League fixture against West Ham United.

The pair both dropped down to the substitutes' bench for the midweek clash with Arsenal, but their presence was missed as the Blues went down by a 4-2 scoreline.

Thomas Tuchel has taken the earliest opportunity to recall the key duo, with Reece James missing out altogether and Romelu Lukaku only featuring among the replacements.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has switched to a right wing-back position, allowing for Jorginho to return in the centre of the pitch, while Marcos Alonso continues his run of games at left wing-back.

Malang Sarr has only been named on the substitutes' bench, with the likes of Saul Niguez, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic also having to remain patient for another chance in the team.

Antonio Rudiger misses out due to injury, the German still carrying an issue from last weekend's FA Cup semi-final.

Chelsea: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Silva, Christensen; Loftus-Cheek, Kante, Jorginho, Alonso; Mount, Werner, Havertz
Subs: Arrizabalaga; Lukaku, Pulisic, Chalobah, Saul Niguez, Barkley, Ziyech, Kenedy, Sarr

West Ham United: Fabianski; Coufal, Dawson, Cresswell, Johnson; Soucek, Noble; Benrahma, Fornals, Masuaku; Yarmolenko
Subs: Areola, Alese, Fredericks, Kral, Rice, Bowen, Lanzini, Vlasic, Antonio
