Andreas Christensen has reportedly agreed to sign a new long-term contract with Chelsea.
The 25-year-old has been regarded as a key man at Stamford Bridge since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel at the start of 2021.
However, despite making 27 appearances in all competitions during that period, Christensen has not extended his current deal past the end of this season.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, that will soon change with the two parties having come to an agreement over fresh terms.
Romano says that an official announcement should be made in due course with Christensen having shunned interest from two other clubs.
While on international duty with Denmark, the centre-back hinted that he was likely to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
