Barcelona reportedly remain in the market for Chelsea defender David Luiz, despite UEFA's year-long transfer ban on the Catalan giants.
The Spanish club were sanctioned by the world governing body earlier this month for breaching rules relating to the acquisitions of under-18 players.
However, Barca are confident that they will be awarded a successful appeal, which has prompted them to make fresh contact with Chelsea regarding a swoop for Luiz, according to The Mirror.
Reports have claimed that the Blues would be open to accepting a £25m bid for the Brazilian this summer.
