Chelsea are reportedly 'making progress' in their pursuit of Inter Milan's Achraf Hakimi despite strong interest from French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
Both Chelsea and PSG are believed to have made €60m (£52m) offers for the Morocco international, but Inter are thought to value him in the region of €80m (£68m).
Various reports have placed the Ligue 1 outfit as the favourites for Hakimi, but according to Sky Sports News, Chelsea are making steps forward in their attempt to sign him.
The report claims that the Serie A champions are willing to accept players as makeweights, with Marcos Alonso and Davide Zappacosta thought to be options for the Milan giants.
Hakimi enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign at club level, scoring seven times and registering 11 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.
The 22-year-old, who largely operated as a right midfielder for Inter last term, still has four years left to run on his contract with the Italian champions.
