Chelsea will reportedly entertain offers for out-of-favour centre-backs Antonio Rudiger and Fikayo Tomori in the January transfer window.
Both players were linked with moves away during the summer, and while Rudiger and Tomori ultimately remained at Stamford Bridge, their game time has been severely limited.
The arrival of Thiago Silva has made it more difficult for the out-of-favour duo to get a look-in under Frank Lampard, with Andreas Christensen also on the books and fighting for a starting place.
However, Silva and Kurt Zouma have formed an effective partnership this season, and according to ESPN, Tomori and Rudiger could be shipped out next month.
The report claims that Lampard is aware that Chelsea need to reduce their wage bill and cut down their defensive ranks, but any injuries over the coming weeks could force the Chelsea manager's hand when it comes to Rudiger and Tomori's game time.
Rudiger played the full 90 minutes in Chelsea's 4-0 thrashing of Sevilla in the Champions League earlier this week, whereas Tomori's most recent outing in blue was in September's defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup.
