Chelsea to make January bid for Javier Pastore?

Chelsea are said to be preparing a mid-season move for PSG midfielder Javier Pastore.

Chelsea are reportedly planning to make a bid for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Javier Pastore when then transfer window opens in January.

The 27-year-old, who has been with the Ligue 1 champions for five years, has found playing time hard to come by under new manager Unai Emery this term due to a combination of injury and tactical changes.

According to Get French Football News, the Blues are looking to take advantage of the situation by making a mid-season offer to Les Parisiens, who are said to be 'weighing up' whether to cash in on the Argentine.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is a long-term admirer of the former Palermo man and was considering making an approach over the summer.

Pastore is also thought to have received an offer to return to Italy, as well as a "big-money proposal" to move to the Chinese Super League.
