West Bromwich Albion head coach Steve Clarke has claimed that the club will try to keep Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku for another season.
The 19-year-old, who moved to The Hawthorns on a season-long loan from the Blues last summer, has admitted that he wants to eventually become a first-team regular at Stamford Bridge but is unsure of where his immediate future lies.
"It's something that will come up for discussion in the summer," ESPN quotes Clarke as saying. "Chelsea are his parent club, he is their player and they will decide what they want to do first and foremost. Then, after that, hopefully we will get a chance to put ourselves in the hat.
"If Chelsea want to leave him out for another season somewhere, I think we would have a strong chance of getting him back here but it is a discussion for the summer."
Lukaku has netted 12 goals so far this season.
