Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba could reportedly be sold from Shanghai Shenhua before completing a season for the Chinese Super League side.
The 34-year-old, who left the Champions League winners for China earlier this summer, could be shown the door at Shenhua due to a reported rift between shareholders.
The club's chairman, Zhu Jun, is believed to have claimed that he will only pay his share of the costs if he is granted more control with his 28.5% stake.
Drogba's teammate Nicolas Anelka, who left Chelsea for Shenhua in the January transfer window, may also be sold if board issues are not resolved.
