Hamburg are reportedly keen on taking Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku on a season-long loan.
The 18-year-old has failed to break into the Blues first team since his £18m move to Stamford Bridge from Anderlecht last year.
It is understood that Hamburg's sporting director Frank Arnesen will fly into London to form a deal with the former Premier League champions, according to the Daily Mail.
While Chelsea are thought to be willing to let the Belgium international leave on a temporary basis, it is believed that the club would prefer a loan switch to another English club.
It emerged yesterday that fellow Premier League side Fulham are keen on clinching the teenage forward.
