Lucas Digne reportedly favours a move to Chelsea ahead of other interested clubs during this transfer window, following a fallout with Rafael Benitez.

Everton full-back Lucas Digne favours a move to Chelsea in this transfer window, according to a report.

The Toffees defender is expected to leave the club in January following a fallout with Rafael Benitez, and the Frenchman has not played since the Merseyside derby on December 1.

The 28-year-old has featured 13 times this season in the Premier League, and has been playing for Everton since 2018 when he signed from Barcelona for £18m.

According to a report from 90min, Digne would prefer a move to Chelsea out of all the interested parties, with Newcastle United, West Ham United, and Leicester City all keeping tabs on his situation.

Thomas Tuchel is hoping to sign a full-back within this window due to the injury to Ben Chilwell, with the England international set to miss the entire season.

Everton will be back in action on Saturday in the FA Cup when they face Hull City, and it remains to be seen whether Digne will be involved in the squad.
