Aston Villa are reportedly confident of keeping on-loan Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham at the club for the remainder of the season.
Villa beat a number of clubs to Abraham's signature during the summer transfer window, and the England international has scored 11 Championship goals for Dean Smith's side this season.
Chelsea are said to be considering taking up the recall option in Abraham's loan agreement, which comes into effect at the start of 2019.
However, according to the Birmingham Mail, Villa have already held discussions with Chelsea over the striker's future, and the Championship club are hopeful that the season-long loan agreement will stand.
The same report claims that former Chelsea captain John Terry, who is on the coaching staff at Villa, is playing a key role in keeping Abraham at the club.
The 21-year-old has scored seven times in his last four Championship appearances.
