The 20-year-old had been expected to be shipped out from Stamford Bridge on a temporary basis due to his lack of first-team football with the West London outfit.
It has been confirmed by the Championship club on their official website that McEachran has the option to extend the loan until the end of the season.
The midfielder spent a loan stint at Middlesbrough last season.
