Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech will reportedly be able to begin training with Chelsea from July 1.
While the Blues completed the signing before the coronavirus pandemic, it had been expected that the Morocco international would remain at Ajax past the end of June.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Ziyech could find himself being able to link up with the Blues significantly earlier than expected.
The report says that the likely end to the Eredivisie campaign will mean that any planned transfers can be processed as planned.
Nevertheless, the 27-year-old will not be eligible to play a competitive game for the West Londoners until after the end of the current season.
As it stands, no decision has been made regarding the start and end dates of the next transfer window.
