Yannick Bolasie says that the Crystal Palace squad remain upbeat despite their recent run of negative form.

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has insisted that "confidence is still high" among the playing squad at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles are without a win in their last six encounters, while they also haven't found the net during their last four outings.

However, despite the fact that Palace's chances of automatic promotion to the Premier League have been ended by their recent run of form, Bolasie believes that they are still capable of ending the season on a high note.

"Everyone suffers a dip and unfortunately for us, this is not the time you want to suffer a dip," the London Evening Standard quotes him as saying.

"I am sure we will finish the season strongly. We could win the next five games, that is always possible in the Championship.

"Confidence is still high. We were fighting for relegation last season and now we are looking to go up to the Premier League so everyone is relishing this."

Palace are fourth in the Championship table with five matches left to play.
