Crystal Palace will reportedly open talks over a contract extension with Yannick Bolasie in a bid to ward other clubs off the midfielder during this summer's transfer window.
Liverpool are considered the frontrunners to sign the Congo DR international, who has been valued at £40m by Eagles manager Alan Pardew.
However, the Daily Mail reports that the club is preparing to discuss a new deal with improved terms for the 25-year-old, who penned a three-year contract less than a year ago.
Bolasie has been a regular for Palace this season, making 31 appearances for the club, and recently scored a hat-trick in the team's 4-1 win over Sunderland.
